A New Start..................

Hi everyone I'm sorry for not posting in ages I've been too busy thinking about my new updated version of this blog. Anyway I have decide to make this blog about hair and nails because no one only cares about their nails right? Anyway my next blog will be a tutorial on how to dip-dye your hair so yeah enjoy yourselves until then and I'll post something soon.

Swirly Nails

Hi guys thanks for all the positive feedback from my first blog and thank you to all those who viewed it. I hope you found the last blog useful and please do send me some suggestions to do. Remember, this blog is for you guys so I'll do you what you guys want! This week I'm doing a tutorial on swirly nails. Anyway Lets start painting.........

Instructions:

What you'll need:

• A base colour
• A swirl colour
• A top coat 
• Nail polish remover
• Toothpicks, cotton wool buds and pads
• A manicure kit

Start by filing your nails down so they are even lengths. Once that is done, paint on the base colour, in the demo, I used red. Paint both feet so you aren't waiting for ages till the first foot dries. Then dip a clean toothpick into the swirl colour,for me that was pink. Start in the middle of your nail and dab the toothpick in a spiral shape,working from the center out. Do both feet and wait about thirty minutes for that to dry. Just because your nails are wet,it doesn't mean you can't do things. (While I waited, I did my guitar practice.)

Once you've waited Paint on some top coat and leave to dry. If it isn't shiny or smooth enough then paint another on top of the first layer. Then you're done. Enjoy!!!!

Spotty Nails

Hi guys,

This is my first ever blog so I'm quite nervous. My blog is showing  you   funky nail designs to try at home. For all the designs you will need only nail polish in however many colours are needed, Toothpicks for intricate designs and patterns,nail polish remover,cotton wool pads,cotton wool  buds and a manicure kit. To start with I'll be doing simple designs because I need to get the hang of it too.  Then, as time goes on they'll get harder and harder. Anyway enough talking and more painting!!!!

Instructions:

What you'll need:

• Whatever colour nail varnishes you would like in as many colours as required
• Tooth picks, cotton wool buds and pads
• Nail polish remover
• A manicure kit
• Top coat nail polish

To start, file your nails (hands or feet, works for both) so they are all even in length. Then paint the base colour, in my case red. Once that has dried, stick a toothpick in the colour you want your spots, in my case green. To apply the spots, put only the tip of the toothpick on your nail and twist it to create a circle. (It doesn't matter if it blobs or sticks out, in my opinion  it adds to the effect!) Once they are dry,apply the top coat and wait for it to dry. Get a cotton bud and cover it in nail polish remover. Wipe around your nails to take of any nail polish that has escaped your nail in the process. Then you're done!
